Legend Earns First Win
 
After a slow start the Legend finally gets its first win of the season. Jason Springer cruised to a complete game victory allowing two unearned runs and striking out 11. Scottie Heiberg scored the first run of the game on a RBI single by Blake Boles. In the third inning Hector L. Luna drove in two more, including what would prove to be the game winner. This was Hector's second straight game-winning RBI at Aurora dating back to last season. Nick Allman made the Play of the Game in the bottom of the 6th, ending a potential rally.

Opening Day Rain-Out Rescheduled for Memorial Day
 
The Legend will me making up game one of the double-header that was rained out on May 20th against Terry's Tire Town. The game will be played Monday May 29th @ 9:00pm. It will take place at Summit Lake Park in Akron.

2 Hits, 0 ER, Loss
 
Despite a nice pitching effort by Jeff Forbes, the Legend loses 2-1 to the Randolph Reds. Canton-Akron scored its only run in the first inning when Jeff Forbes had an RBI single to score the leadoff hitter, Matt Deshon. Randolph scored an unearned run in the 2nd innng on a passed ball and the winning run on a wild pitch in the 4th. Both runs were made possible due to errors allowing singles to be streched into doubles. Jeff Forbes pitched a complete game, 2-hitter striking out seven with no earned runs in the loss.

Season Opener Rained Out
 
The double-header scheduled for Saturday May 20 has been rained out. Make up date to be announced. Our next game is Tuesday May 23 at Field High School versus the Randolph Reds.
 
2006 Schedule is Announced
 
The Canton-Akron Legend opens the 2006 season Saturday May 20 at Terry's Tire Town. The home opener is set for Thursday May 25 versus Alliance. New for this season the Legend will play four Saturday double-headers. Three of which will be at home, 9:30am start time. On Thursday July 13 the regular season comes to an end against Portage South.

Legend anounces the signing of Pete Hall of North Canton. Pete is currently playing baseball for Emerson College in Boston, Mass.
