Forbes goes 5 for 5 in 15-3 Win
 
The Legend defeated Randolph 15 to 3 in their final meeting of the regular season.  Jeff Forbes went 5 for 5 with 4 RBI in the game.  Blake Busson also had a big game going 4 for 5 with 3 runs and a RBI.  Jason Cole earns the victory going the distance.

Legend Defeats Sharon Center
 
Jason Cole and Scott Heiberg combine for a shutout agianst Sharon Center.  The Legend pick up a road victory 5-0.  Matt Deshon went 3 for 3 with 2 runs, a RBI, a stolen base, and a sacrafice bunt.

Forbes Throws 1-Hitter
 
An infield single in the second inning was the only hit allowed by Jeff Forbes on his way to a complete game shutout victory against Delainie's Grill.  Forbes struck out 6 in the 4-0 victory.

Kyle Buck Follows Up No-No, Perfect Thru 4 2/3
Kyle Buck extended his streak to 12 hitless innings.  The Legend won in 6 innings due to the 10 run mercy rule.  Buck was 4 outs away from a perfect game and his second consecutive no-hitter before giving up three consecutive base hits.  Buck had 8 strikeouts in the win.  In addition to Buck's streak, the Legend pitching staff had gone 12 2/3 innings without giving up a hit.  Ryan Oldfield was 3 for 4 on the day with 4 RBI, 2 runs, a triple, and a stolenbase.  The Legend has now won five in a row after a 1 and 5 start.

Jason Springer Pitches Legend's Second No-Hitter of the Week
 
After only having one no-hitter in their first nine seasons, the Legend has had two in the last four games.  This one coming by way of Jason Springer no-hitting Terry's Tire Town in a 7-0 victory.  Springer struck out 9 batters in the game.  The only ball hit out of the infield was a lazy fly ball to shallow right field in the 4th inning.  This was the Legend's fourth consecutive win getting them back to .500 on the season.  boxscore

Bartuseck Gets First Win
 
Despite great pitching and 0 Earned Runs, Bartuseck was 0-3 coming into Wednesday's game.  Bart pitched six strong innings, striking out seven in the victory.  Dustin Crites, formerly of the Boston Red Sox organization, took the loss giving up nine earned runs.  The Legend had 9 hits and 11 stolen bases in the game. boxscore

Kyle Buck throws No-Hitter
 
In his first start of the season Kyle Buck no-hits first place Ellet.  Ellet's only two base runners of the game reached on walks.  This is the second no-hitter in the Legend's history.  The other was by Matt Collin in a game where four unearned runs scored.  Buck's was the first no-hit shutout.  The Legend's only run and game winner scored on a RBI single by Scottie Heiberg.  boxscore
 
In the second game of the double-header the Legend came from behind, scoring five runs in the sixth, to defeat Ellet 6-5.  Again the game-winning RBI came from Scottie Heiberg.  This time on a bases loaded triple.  Jeff Forbes only allowed one hit through 5 1/3.  Scottie Heiberg earned the win in relief, while Ryan Oldfield collected his first save closing out the 7th.  boxscore
